XWA Upgrade

A while back I decided to create a couple fan films for the X-Wing/Tie Fighter games. One with rebel protagonists, one with imperial protagonists. Hope you guys enjoy. Newtek's Lightwave was used for the 3D assets.

Pretty cool, where did you get that improved Cruiser model?

I made all of the models myself actually.

The Calamari is based on the XvT MC40 and the Mod Corvette is based on a mix of the versions throughout the games.

I have a request: for your videos you have a great variety of beautiful starfields. I'm planning to introduce more backdrop images to be used as optional starfield for the XWA gameplay. Please, could you post me some pictures than can be used as spherical starfield, or could you tell me where to find them? Thanks!!!

You might get some good results with Spacescape.

I actually procedurally generate all of the starfields in these videos. I can still upload some images of them for you if you so desire.

I really liked the cockpit of the Star Wing gunboat in Star Wars: Corvette Attack.
Simple and old fashion style, I mean XvT style, but with sensors displaying the actual form of the nearby crafts.
Craft dimension displayed on sensors also depends on the distance, so the gunboat on the left is bigger than the corvettes.
