I'm trying to find out if the group of pirates etc that worked with Cad Bane had a name at all?
Can't see anything official. Only that they worked for the CIS.
EDIT! Doh I'm getting him mixed up with Hondo Ohnaka. Same question though lol
Also are there any other well known group of pirates or merc groups named in the SW Universe?
New or old. I'm really rusty on some of it. There's the Pyke Syndicate I know.
Has no one tried making a XWA Opt of The Ghost yet?

Also if you're looking for the mandalorian protector ships we also have a Fang fighter that we produced together. It should be on his page, and if not you can find it on my google page via my web link in my XWAU forum profile
My site is pretty obscure but there may also be some things of interest there you may not have seen if you've not been around, I have a couple clone wars ships and there will be another one coming out once I can get my act together again sooner rather than later hopefully.

Dimok and Ripoblus were civilian/resistance/pirate forces in TIE Fighter.

Aren't they the 2 sides in the Sepan Civil War? They do fit into all those roles in that campaign at some point, though.
Nharwaak pirates are also seen in a later T/F campaign; all 3 are actually species in their own right. (Dimok/Ripoblus seem near-human, from the cutscene)
For Pirates, see: Pirate OrganizationsAce Antilles wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2020 2:45 pmAlso are there any other well known group of pirates or merc groups named in the SW Universe?
For Crime, there's Criminal Organizations, and the Hutt Kajidics
For Mercenary outfits: Mercenary (Legends)

Rich C is right. Dimok and Ripbolus were warring / competing nation states--if you call it that--assuming both are located on the same planet. Or were neighboring planets in the same Sepan system. They weren't pirates, but more civilized and advanced than that. They joined forces later to throw out the Imperial presence as their common enemy. There might be another clan group name with the leader Ali 'Talaak or something like that who obtained some of Thrawn's Tie Defenders in the later missions.

From what I read Dimok and Ripoblus basically turned against the Empire. Plus yes species names so not ideal.
It's been soooo long since I played TIE Fighter.
Thanks for the links Rich

This; both species are named for their home planet.
Ali Tarrak, yes! She was leader of the Nami, who are apparently a nomadic species. There might be another clan group name with the leader Ali 'Talaak or something...
