Hi Y'all, I'm glad to be here. It's been over 4 years since I've keep track of the latest XWA Upgrade updates and stuff. I remember reading here about a great co-op mod for
X-wing Alliance:

Does anyone here have any experience setting up the x-wing alliance co-op mod and gameplay experience (which mission are best for co-op). Are there any custom made missions that are also compatible with the co-op mod?
And also does anyone here know if this co-op is compatible with the XWA Upgrade mod and over graphics and hud enhancements mods?
Thank You Pilots,

So, Its now basically a hook that rewrites some features in the sim to allow multiple players to play multi region missions. The option in the last DSUCP also came with the full list of campaign missions modded for multiplayer as well. I'm sure that thread has a link to the standalone hook and missions.
It works great, and I've done just a little testing with the author. The upgrade pack ships and hud enhancements should work fine. I am not aware of any conflicts that hook has with anything.

Here's an interesting question about this mod as it pertains to custom mission design: Is it possible to have the players start in different regions & have them converge on the same region for the mission's finale?

I would imagine its theoretically possible since the old multi region skirmish functioned this way, though there was no player mothership assigned and opposing teams spawned in using whatever the skirmish mechanic uses.

TY...kind of want social media-like reactions here now, now that I'm familiar w/ the concept.

Is this currently a feature of the most recent version of XWAU? I haven't tried playing the campaign coop, feel like it would be an amazing experience.

Of course it isnt possible, don't be daft man! This is the internet where our subjective opinions outweigh any rational or constructive thought about anything ever!
Gosh, some people just don't think at all and sometimes entirely much, but should already know the answer to their question before posting things on social media for advice.
I hope this kind of response meets your expectations because I feel dirty now and have a headache as a result of crafting such a moronic response.
I really wouldn't mind testing out such a mission but I'm not set up for multiplayer right now, but I am curious to see if it is more than theoretically possible.

Well, some forms of humor are lost in text-based media, too. Maybe the joke was "lost in translation". I see it on IRC all the time.
