Game Crashes when I Destroy Random Ships

Hello, Having an issue with crashing in the quick Skirmish mode (mostly crashes in Skirmish mode) and the Campaign solo missions.
It seems that When i Destroy random ships or objects the game crashes, but just before the actual ship or object would be destroyed (Example a X-Wing i am attacking has only 2-4% hull remaining and the just before my last shot hits the game give a Error and crashes)
Currently playing on a Windows 8 Gateway Laptop.
Installed The 2.02 patch and had no problems until now.
The crash error itself doesn't give me any information on the root of problem.
Any ideas on how to Fix this would be awesome.

I'm having the exact same issue. Only in skirmish mode though.
