Help Installing Custom OPT

Hello guys. I was wondering if I could get help installing DTM's TIE Silencer. I downloaded all hooks as per instructions and placed the files on my XWA folder and added the ship via mxvted but the ship doesn't show on the list.

I know the shp file can be opened in MXvTED to add the ship stats into XWA but after doing it and placing the OPT files for the model, the cockpit and the exterior on the flightmodels subfoldfer, the ship still doesn't show in game.

Also, how does one add the map and hull icons and that skirmish image? I know it is dat stuff but I've never done that before.

Not an easy one to explain. That would be something for DTM to do.
But go to the XWAUP download page and at the bottom download XwaToolsDownloader.
There's lots of clever tools there and that will help to add to DAT files. Backup first though!

Update on the shp file: had to enable the craft and press write then + and - several times to make sure info was written properly I forgot that was a common issue on MXvTED.
