Hey, I'm trying to increase the resolution of XWA to widescreen (1920x1080) but XWA Hacker is no go. When I run the executable and point it to xwingalliance.exe it says "File has unsupported modifications Options disabled", and then "unsupported binary, could not read your resolution settings". This is with the gui XWA Hacker.
Any suggestions? This is a clean install of the XWA steam version, so I'm not sure what unsupported modifications there could be, unless it's something unique to the steam version.

I think it's because Steam modify the EXE with DRM protection.
Just install the XWAUCP or the DSUCP.
That will give you options for Steam and all the resolutions. Quicker and easier as I found out
