In the past I have been using DSUCP (sorry if its taboo now) at what point is it a good time to switch exclusively to XWAUP? what do i gain? what do i lose? Thank all of you for keeping this game alive and well!

Just switched myself, You loose all the additional ships but you gain the ability to install them where you want, plus you gain dynamic cockpits and bluemax's effects.

The DSUCP 2.6 works with the dynamic cockpits and the effects. I assume there won’t be any compatibility issues between the XWAUP and the DSUCP until the next major XWAUP update.
