But seriously, any updates in spite of obviously-real-life engagements?

Believe me, it'll be worth it.
As will be the smaller ones, of course Valiant...
[ 29 March 2007: Message edited by: General_Trageton ]

If The Man says "It's worth it," then it's WORTH it.
I can't wait to see whatever goodies you got up your sleeves for us.
Now, NOT to add anything new to your list of tasks, but one Star Wars item I'd love to see you take a shot at is a Death Star. "Yes" I know that one is in the works, and lost in limbo somewhere, but I can only imagine what your version would be like.
And I'd bet that it'd be pretty good, at the least.
Kyle
Mar. 29, 2007

Na, I won't do a DS. the one I've seen in WIP is far better than whatever I could come up with.
@Kyle, let's just say that something you invented is somewhat 75% done
[ 30 March 2007: Message edited by: General_Trageton ]

I've never seen the Death Star WIPs. All broken pics.

Yeah, but I'd like to see what you could do with the DSII reactor core.

you might have to trash the old mission though since the tunnels will need to be bigger

GT,
Man, the timing of all this is TOO crazy to believe.
I can NOT wait to see how The Valiant's going to look. Any chance of it making it into a campaign mission/skirmish for your recently released shipset, or it being included in a revised edition of the shipset itself? I'm surprised that you kept your built-with-much-love Republic-era Victory class from the Episode III pack. I realize that we didn't get to see the Victory in the film, nor would we see the Valiant, so I'm assuming that they're being left out to keep the Coruscant battle as true to the films as possible, right?
Of course (hint-hint) you could always sneak them into some far back corner of the battle, sitting there as Easter eggs to find later in the raging and thin atmosphere of Coruscant. Oooh, it makes my wee heart all go a flutter just thinking about it!
I'm currently down state at my Father-In-Law's till Easter, so I've got to wait WAY too long to even get a chance at trying that shipset out.
Torture I say, TORTURE!
;-D
Too bad about your passing on the Death Star, but I'm assuming from what you said that you've seen the one that's been in progress but is currently "lost in limbo." If you're saying that it's a terrific piece of work, then I can hardly wait to get my hands on it. But it looks like waiting is something I have to do a lot of!
And the demo for "Battlestar Galactica: Beyond the Red Line" is out now too! Oh my gods!
"Patience my young padawan, patience."
Sigh.
Fingernails just about chewed off,
Kyle
April 5, 2007
;-D

GT,
Ah noooooooooo! Now it's going to be even more torturous to know that there are those Easter eggs sitting there and I can't even begin to download them till I get back home from the Easter holiday!
You, sir, are an evil, EVIL man. ;-D
So, is the Valiant "hidden" in the mission in its completed state, or...?
Ohhhhh, I can't wait I CAN'T wait!
lol
Kyle

Not to spoil everything, but don't look for the Valiant in this version. It's not completed yet(though not far off either)
I might include the Valiant in a later version with bugfixes, blackjack and hookers
