THe NJO series is amazing, and I've read all of tehm (bar star by star and rebel dream), i've found that some are better or weaker than others.
I've liked TRAITOR and ENEMY LINES 1.
Enemy lines 1 has a brilliant plot and is the first book to put a whole new spin on the Yuuzhan Vong. Traitor does the same, and it is also breathtakingly good, nad has an amazing plot.
I found Balance Point and Dark Journey weak. BP, because it focused too much on one place (which is alright, but it wasn't carried off well). Dark Journey was vague and boriing, more of a filler until the next book.

Star By Star and Traitor good.
Balance Point and Vector Prime not so good. Dark Journey as well.
Dark Journey actually had some inconsistancies with Star by Star, Some of them pretty lame.
I'm reading the new E-Book Ylesia at the moment, get back to you on that one.

Recovery was ok, not great but it filled in a few gaps that cropped up in Star by Star stuff involving Viqi Sheesh.
I've put reading Ylesia back until after I've read Destiny's Way as it takes place after DW and i've already had several very minor spoiler from reading the first two pages.
Both E-books are meant as just fillers introducing characters or filling in the odd gap.
They are cheap though.

Can I just remind everyone about not posting any spoilers for the books.
I hate finding out what happened before I read the book. If you have to then mark it clearly and leave some gaps.
I'm currently halfway through Traitor. Just getting to the good stuff. I found the beginning long winded with all the YV descriptions.
Best books: Vector Prime, Star by Star (although ending got spoiled before I read it), Enemy Lines books (great Wedge story).
Worst: Dark Journey. Nothing that happened there really seems to have mattered.
Agents of Chaos books, not so good.
But most of the books have had some good bits. Where they are trying to mix in stuff from the new films isn't always coming off so well though.
