I still have installed in one of my old computers my 3Dfx Voodoo 3 3000. Man, I loved that card, and I was about to replace it with a 5 5000 when the frigging nVidia company bought 3Dfx and sunk it forever.
Wow, I remember my old 16mb Voodoo2 card, ran the early XWAU stuff really well! *sobs*
Nice collection!
[ 29 September 2007: Message edited by: Rich C ]
Thats a lot of voodoos..
I had a Voodoo2 12mb... the one wich requiered bridge to a standard "2D" card.. and a Voodoo3 16mb..
they were both lovely ones.. alltought the Voodoo2 was a bith , it sometimes required you to put a finger holding it to one side to boot the system... otherwise normaly the comp crashed during boot.. you gold a finger against it and it booted ok..
yeap i know it sounds weird, but once booted all went fine.. I even dont renember how the hell i found out that

Wow, that's so long ago. I remember buying a Voodoo 3 2000, I think. I used money I made from my second job for that. It was just to get 3D graphics for XWA at the time, and I thought it was amazing back then. Technology sure has changed since then.
I saw a site a while ago that was like a 3Dfx museum. It had pictures of all the cards and information, even pics of the boxes!
Oh wait, I found something like it, or maybe this is it?
