No, it is only for checking that the controllers and axis are well detected.

You are on the right track. I changed the throttle controller from one to two and then changed the rudder controller from seven to one and tried 0, 1, and 2 as the axis with no luck. So for some reason the app is not recognizing the rudder even though the system controller tab says it is no. 7 and windows reads it as OK. I can assure you that it works fine in DCS.

WIP

Hello,
Here is a new WIP.

I've improved the enable or disable small movements feature.

I am having issues getting the hook to translate the button commands. My setup uses a Thrustmaster Warthog Stick and Throttle, and MFG Crosswind V2 rudder pedals. I can get the pedals and stick to respond to my axis commands and I can fire my weapons with my trigger, but non of the other button commands are registering. I also can't seem to get my throttle to work either. Suggestions?

Hello,
What are your settings in the "Buttons" tab?

They are as follows in the screenshots. I would like to note that the buttons that supposedly exist on my rudder pedals (listed as Joybutton_0_1 and Joybutton_0_2) don't actually exist on the device. Similarly, Joybutton_3_1 is for the Logitech G13 gamepad I have which I am not using as part of the joystick config. I am still experimenting with control functions so a lot of the buttons have not been filled out yet.

Hi,
I have a Logitech X-56 HOTAS with separate controllers for joystick and throttle, the issue I am having is that if I connect the throttle or the joystick individually they are identified in the System Controllers tab correctly, but if I have them both connected, I identifies 2 throttles but no joystick. Any ideas on what I maybe doing incorrectly.

Many Thanks

Hello,
I've added 2 settings. 1 for invert the throttle axis and 1 for invert the rudder axis.

I have just installed the new megapack and also your latest joystick update. My CH rudder pedals are number 7 on the list in your system controllers tab. When I try number 7, the game keeps spinning around. A while back I tried "-1" and the game did not spin but neither did the rudder pedals work. I am using "3" for the rudder axis. Any thoughts? :hilfe:

And I have a working profile for the X-55 rhino. If anyone has interest I can post it here. I suspect the axis section might be different for you based on the order of your Stick/Throttle in windows.
I could use that profile.

Also for whatever reason (maybe UAL002's profile will fix this) my fighter immediately goes into an uncontrolled left roll and yaw with pitch down. I cannot counter it in any way. I've tried running the controllers with and without vjoy, no luck either way.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<SOLVED>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
"Use the POV as regular buttons" in the joystick configurator.

Hi,
Wondering if anyone else has the following issue . . .
Btw, I use an Xbox 360 controller.

I've been enjoying the upgrades for months and then saw the mega patch option which now doesn't require all those new ship installs and has the BabaFrik addition. Great idea btw.

A couple days ago, I deleted my old install with all the upgrades but after backing up my pilot files, config file, mission.lst files from Melee and Mission folders.

I reinstalled XWA from Steam and ran XWAU2020.exe and then XWAU2020fixpack_v1.0.exe on Dec 4.

I noticed the following new issue with my xbox360 joystick. I remap the following:
Joystick POV Down to F9: Adjust laser recharge rate
Joystick POV Left to F10: Adjust shield recharge rate

These are down and left on the xbox 360's Dpad.

Now (with the new mega patch upgrade), when I press dpad down or left, it is adjusting those settings rapidly: a single press is making the bars cycle quickly so it's difficult to make the bars stop on the desired setting. As if a press is being registered as rapid fire.

Before the patch, it didn't do this. I'm guessing that in the past that it maybe worked on the button release. Thus even if I held the down or left direction for a fraction of a second and then released the button, it would still register as a single press rather than multiple.

I can't seem to be able to setup my VPC throttle as a throttle. it simply does not register. I have downloaded the latest version of the hook and everything else seems to be working fine, but the throttle axis...

I have also tried to remap throttle axis to all axes of joy_0 (which is vJoy) but still, no joy.

Is there any obvious things I should be doing?

You can try setting throttle controller index to 1 as you did, and test axis index from 0 to 5.

I have tried that but have been unsuccessful so far.

In the meanwhile I have mapped the stop-1/3-2/3-full keypresses to one of the throttle axis via joystick gremlin and that kind of works so OK with that.

I'll give it another spin...

Just to be sure: I should reload the game every time I change the axis, right? So the routine would be:
Test in game
Close game
Change axis
repeat

right?

It is right.
And save the config when you change it.

WIP

Hello,
I've updated the joystick hook.

You can now replace each axis: Yaw, Pitch, Throttle, Rudder
