Hi folks, small update for the page incoming. I had a bit of time on my hand so I finally got down to it and redid pretty much all of the existing screenshots. I did not re-render most of the cockpit shots as those are kinda moot if you don't take them in-game these days. There's also one or two models that I did not re-render due to some issues. But pretty much everything else has been re-rendered.

There's over 1.500 new shots (over 3GB of data) available. All scenes are rendered in a higher resolution (1920x1080) with consistent lighting throughout all scenes and all flightgroup colors available. (And man, some of those are simply kick-ass!) I also made sure to have a brighter overall light in the scenes to show off the models and textures a bit more. While this makes for less dramatic scenes it certainly shows off the models themselves much better. I also included shots of closed sFoils and extended gears where available. In-game hangars should now also have better and more consistent shots.

Do be aware that those are not in-game screenshots but rendered in blender. This makes it much easier to make screenshots, but also means that I do have to take some artistic license in some areas. So while the shots properly show of the models and textures themselves, lighting effects are not true to the game.

In addition to that you can now also navigate through the screenshots better. If you start in the screenshots gallery and open an image there you'll now have a back and forward link to simply scroll through the available shots. (This does not work for the direct links here in the forum)

Here is a small selection of some of my favorites:

I know it's not a new model, but I hope some of you will enjoy it as a stop-gap until the next one shows up!

I've been following this and think they are amazing!!
If you've not played XWA in a long time then take a look.
The pics show off a lot of stuff that I missed and sone of the amazing Flightgroup colours to use.
For example I didn't know there was a FG for the Assault Shuttle showing Space Troopers!

You did a brilliant job Forceflow

Stupid question : was the landing gear issue with the x-wing (when the s-foils are closed) finally fixed ?

I‘m sure you wanted to say something like „hey those look great“ and just got an awful lot of accidentally accurate typos in.

More than 20 years ago I would never have imagined a mod of such sublime quality making my favorite game of 20 years ago still in my top 3 thanks to you. ❤👌

Thank you for this updates ! Great Job :D
It is a more pleasure now too navigate in all the screenshots and good way too add "next" and "previous" Button.
I hopes a new Craftpack in future.

On my consulting i have past time on my prefer ships the Imperial starfighter !

I was thinking it is a little sad that tie fighter, Tie bomber, Tie advanced, tie defender... have no real 3d pilot in copckpit like Missile boat or Assault gunboat. :(
The flat decor with pilot is a little poor comparison too the beautiful 3d model exterior. And where is vador in Tie advanced XT?
What do you think about that?

This is a good idea. In particular I like the Executor and Dunari's Casino.

I have 1 question about the Neutron Star-class Bulk cruiser: does it actually have colors in mission?

Only if it's using one of the Flightgroup options. I image the missions are all set to Default.
Could be cool to edit missions with Starships in so that they show the nice colours when playing.

In campaign missions there are Bulk cruisers belonging to the Alliance (Diligent), the Empire (Cerebus), Black Sun and Pirates (Redhawk).
The symbol on the starboard side of the Bulk cruiser in the screenshot does not resemble any of the insignias of said factions though.

The yellow FG is a Mining Guild scheme, and that's the logo of the Mining Guild as seen in Rebels.

So yeah, probably wouldn't make sense to use that for Black Sun or the Pirates. It's a cool look though, I'm sure it'd be useful for some custom missions.

The Alliance FG would be good to use for the Alliance Bulk Cruisers, though. I think there's a couple throughout the missions.

The blue one looks to be a Separatist scheme. Not sure if that's based on the CIS using Bulk Cruisers somewhere or if it's just because that skeletal look is a bit like the Recusant. You could probably chuck that one into a mission as pirate ship, like it was Clone Wars salvage. Though personally I think most people would just wonder what a Separatist cruiser was doing in the middle of the GCW.
