So I'm still plugging away at a custom campain and two thoughts came into my mind

1) whats the maximum number of ships you can have running in a mission

2) anyway to have debris just exist and make a debris field? Along with that, have them not vanish when a ship explodes?

The limit is 192 ships per mission.

Pretty Sure the debris field is generated by the exe when a starship or station are destroyed automatically. The Opts exist obviously, but as far as I know they do not take up a shipslot and there is no way to assign them as a FG in AllieD. Pretty sure it's hardcoded. If you wanted a debris field or asteroid field cluster without having to add multiple individuals, you'd have to make an opt yourself to either add to the game, or replace the default asteroid models.

Good to know, I guess its not a bad time t learn how to make opts huh? I have a mission in mind where you enter midst of a battle and would love to have a hull of a star destroyer or mon cal crusier floating there to fly through or under.

So.... I've done it once but I can't get any new ships to show up in Allied. I want to replace some ships with things like the TIE Shuttle etc, but Allied doesn't recgonize the change that I've done in MXVTED.

Aanyone got a solution? Maybe? Please?
