i got the bright idea to fix some of the missions in TIE 98. (regular missiles swapped with advanced missiles in the first battle.) X-Ed won't run in windows 10. AlliED works fine. tried the email on the website, failure to send. not a big surprise. I suspect its because i have a 64 bit OS. anyone know what i could do to fix this?

IIRC, X-Ed is a 16-bit program, so I'm pretty sure your only option is to run it on a 32-bit system, unfortunately.

X-ED doesn't work with .TIE files, only XWI and BRF. AlliED won't be able to edit TIE Fighter missions either (though it can convert them to the XWA version of .TIE) Do what Jeremy said and use YOGEME.

But if you really wanted to run a 16-bit app, use this: https://github.com/otya128/winevdm/releases

Awesome! Didn’t know about the new editor. I will give that a try later tonight.
