I had a similar issue recently. I‘ve had it on my pc for years, but as of recently, some AV programs, (BitDefender for me) raise a false alarm and quarantines the exe file

No is reading madadh7267 post correctly, he's looking to download MXvTEDv4.2, which is NOT in the download section on this website and never has been, you used to be able to download it from Darksaber's X-Wing Station, but since that website has been erased from existence by the admins, it's no longer is available any where it seems.

Pretty much all downloads (except for the malicious ones) had been removed from the site by Darksaber himself before I removed the site. So no matter what MXvTED, was no longer available. As for the removal, I am sorry, but I did not feel like combing through everything on the site to find out if there were any other malicious surprises hidden.

Wouldn't it help the community, if the utilities that are still useful to XWA where hosted on this website, since this site seems to be the main hub for the game, I know most of the utilities have been remade by JeremyaFr, but there are still a few that are useful

MXvTEDv4.2
DATech07 (because it includes Mapicon, a useful little tool) perhaps JeremyaFr could remake Mapicon? I also find DATech07 to be very useful sometimes
XWA Piloteer (not sure you can get it anywhere else)
BinHexEdit (the original version, because it includes all the other modules) which the updated version doesn't
Opt23ds is pretty useful also

It would be a real shame to loose all these utilities, just over this petty hatred this group has adopted for someone who was once so active and prominent to this community.

I'll upload these utilities, which where all downloaded from Darksaber's X-Wing Station, the most recent being MXvTEDv4.2 which is dated April 12, 2019, the rest are older

In time once we sort it all out. It is in discussion. No hatred by the way. He might have been a pain in the butt at times but I still liked him.
