Are you saying I'm old decoy? Well I probably am compared to most of us here. I'll be the big 34 in 25 days.

I'm glad to see you kept up our little thread here while I was away. You guys are great. So how is everyone? Did we all have fun over the weekend? Did you miss me.

No we didn't get to do any boarding this year. We took turns watching Gabe and chatting with the kids as the came into the lodge. The snow was awesome though, we went and played in it for awhile, we also lost some kids for almost 3 hours, they boarded to the back side of the mountain and the lilt in the back had been shut down(they didn't notice the time)so the CRMP (Canadian Royal mounted Police) had to go looking for them. It was a scary moment for all of us.

Anyway, its good to be back around my friends.

Check this out, my B-day is coming up and the wifes sister has this friend who is an art major in school so the wife is having her paint some SW pictures on the wall in one of our spare bedrooms. I call it our SW room as thats where all my SW parifinealia (sp) is.
One of the pictures is Darth Vader and Luke having a saber duel with a siloutte of Darth Vaders head in the back ground. It about 3 feet by 3 feet big. I can't look at it till my B-day though.

I bought Unreal Tournament the Friday before I left. I haven't got to play it much but that game rocks from what I've seen so far. It has some great guns and the bots are good too, but..........there will always be a soft spot in ol GUNNERs heart for Half-Life and Op4.

It's nice to be able to kick someones tail even if they are a first time player huh decoy.

Hehe, I LOVE kicking those newcomers, there is nothing better than that... no, actually that's wrong, there is ONE thing better than kicking a newbie. Kicking a newbie who thinks he is an awesome gamer
Some years ago a new store opened in my town were people could play over a LAN. It was pretty good and all people that played there told me and my friend that they were the best there are.
Since my friend Sebastiona nd I myself, phad played a LOT of MP we thought to check it out...
Man, you should have seen the faces fo the owners. I had 166, Sebastion 125 and the best from the 60 kills!!! It was SOOOOOOOO much fun to kick the bloddy bastards all the way hell and back again

(I feel I should be fair and add something here. May friend came back a year later and got fragged 20 to nothing, and he was the BETTER of us at that time )

Never was any good at POV games. I can never dodge ppls shots to well. Probly because i am a Sniper at heart, and allways want those perfect head shots.

Now flight sims are something i can sink my teeth into

Played A.T.F. Gold? I think that is the BEST Flguth sim there is. (Well, it could need some better graphics, but it's still awesome!!!)
It's not too hard to use (like the F-15 game from Janes) and has the best tech-library I have ever seen! (Not to meantion the AWESOME videos it has!!!)
And you can fly an incredible amount of planes...

The only reason I don't like a lot of flight games is because of all the commands and keys you need to remember. I never get a chance to play enough to be able to remember all the commands. Thats why I like fps's so much, all you need to do is point and shoot, scrool thru your weapons and run like crazy.

That's true, Flight Sims tend to need a LOT of buttons. That's why I like A.T.F. that much, you really didn't need THAT many.
And man, I've seen FPS that need a hell of a lot of buttons. I played the Demo of SWAT 2 (I think it was SWAT 2) and hell, they have TONS of buttons!!! (Most of them totally useless, instead of making the crouch button a toggle button they made one for crouching, and one for standing, pretty useless if you ask me. And that wasn't the only thing they made like that)

Heck i am so bad at FPS, that i tired the Rogue spear demo, and never could get past the first level...either the hostages would get killed or that i would get shot. I got flustrated and deleted it. It only took about an hour to DL and install. Could have done shomthing with that hour...nah would have just wasted it.
