Does anyone map their hat switch to anything besides looking around? I'm using an Extreme 3D pro for XWA and TF. Just looking for ideas, thanks for any input!

I have set my hat switch to targeting commands. I have two and both of them have an alternate mode, so I can set up to 16 commands to the two. Things like, next and prev target (in the version of all and just enemy) ship attacking my target, next warhead, newest ship... stuff like that.

Yep, I do the same as Forceflow. Having the targeting commands easily accessible is great. Personally I go with up for next target, down for previous, left for nearest enemy starfighter and right to cycle enemy ships targeting you but obviously go with whatever feels natural.
Nearest objective and target in reticle are also great choices to bind to an easily accessed joystick button too.
