So... I know that darksaber's developments are not available anymore (IF ANYONE CAN GET ME THE dsucp.exe I WOULD BE GREATELLY APPRECIATED).
But, still, I was really curious to try the original xwing game in the xwing alliance engine. So, I downloaded the XWC4.0 development and I got it working on the gog version (with the xwaupgrade)
But... As you can see I have this problem with the cockpit. Unfortunately I have no experience modding the game so I have no idea what this might be. I hope someone with more experience can look at this image and tell me that there is a quick solution to the problem...

That problem is happening because the Cockpit POV is wrong. You need to fix the POV using MXvTED. For this cockpit, I _think_ the Cockpit POV is: X: 0, Z: 32, Y: 33, but you should use the .SHP file to install the cockpit (the .SHP file should contain the cockpit POV as specified by the author).
