Joystick Software Anomoly

I'm currently helping out as a Beta tester with the TFTC project. Using 2 types of HOTAS setups, a (Very OLD) Saitek X35/36 HOTAS rig and a brand New Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, I am seeing the same anomaly on both= After programming my various buttons and entering the game. If I decide to use my Keyboard and "key-press" in a command instead of a programmed button on my HOTAS, one of the following occurs: If my throttle position is at Zero, my ship will accelerate to full speed on its own. If my throttle is at 100% speed and I hit a key, It will slow to Zero speed. It does not seem to matter if the Key is also a programmed button on my HOTAS or not. Furthermore, it seems to only work if my throttle position is at very MAX or Min position. A quick blip of my throttle will re-register it's position and my ship will follow it's setting again. I seem to be the only one having the issue within the group over here so I am at a loss on how to track down the issue.
On another note= Some commands available in-game are not on the drop-down list for programming to a HOTAS setup. One that I would like to see is "D" for Virtual HUD On/Off. I noticed with your Item numbering system that certain ones were skipped. (I think "D" would be number 100 for instance.) Is there a limit within the program to allocate a maximum number of drop-down options?
Thank you!
